Frequently Asked Questions
So anyone can report a score, or schedule a game?
Yes, as long as they have registered with playofftracker.com and logged in.
What's to prevent people from reporting the wrong score?
Nothing, but incorrect scores will be corrected by others almost immediately anyway, so posting the wrong score is pointless. Besides, those using the site value correct scores, and so far it hasn't been a problem at all.
Can I report a score from the rink, using my iPhone/BlackBerry?
Yes, the website works okay in both iPhones and BlackBerries, and should work okay on other smartphones that have a browser. The mobile device version of the site is a little rough in places - I'll be improving it when I have time.
I have a suggestion / problem / complaint about the site - how do I let you know?

Does this site make money?
No. I'm just a crazy hockey dad who for years wished it was easier to follow Orangeville teams through the playoffs, and eventually decided to do something about it. Last season was the first version of the tracker - which was completely manual (I had to post every reported score by hand). That was a lot of time, so this year I came up with a more automated approach. I hope you like it!
But what about the ads on the right side?
The Google ads are there to help defray the cost of the server and playofftracker.com domain fee. They don't cover all of the expense of running the site, but they help a little.
